Expert Top Tips: 5 Tips For Homeschooling

Each week we will be bringing you 5 top tips from experts in their field. This week we have asked Mrs Lisa Rumford, Associate Principle for her top tips for homeschooling.

1.Find somewhere quiet to work with little distractions- if you have more than one child, try to work with each child on their own.

2.Make sure you build in regular breaks and go for a walk each day if possible.

3.Find some fun things they are interested in and reward them when they have finished their school work.

4.Remember we are all in the same storm but sailing in different boats! Don't compare yourself to other parents- you are doing a fabulous job!

5.Protect your mental health and keep them happy, happy children who feel safe learn better.

We hope these top tips help you with your lockdown homeschooling!
